Travel

The San Diego International Airport is conveniently located a mile from the host venue, and just a few miles from attractions like downtown San Diego and the beach. International visitors may need additional paperwork before traveling to San Diego.

The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina is on the waterfront and San Diego Airport is just a few minutes away. Complimentary airport shuttle service to/from the San Diego International Airport is available. The hotel courtesy airport shuttle arrives every 20-25 minutes from 4:45am - 1am, seven days a week.

Weather

Even though it will be late winter in San Diego, our winters are very mild. Average lows in early March are 52°F (11°C) and average highs are 65°F (18°C). There have even been beach days in March! San Diego’s rainy season ends in January, so rain is unlikely, but be sure to check the weather before you head out.

Attractions

San Diego is known for its beaches, parks and warm climate. In addition to numerous art galleries, museums and gardens San Diego is also the Craft Beer Capital of America and a foodie town. Located just 20 miles from the Mexican border, San Diego is also known for its excellent Mexican Food and world famous fish tacos.
